Cambrian Coast Express 2007

28th August 2007 to 31st August 2007

For the third successive year I headed to the Cambrian Coast, this time with my father. Once again the loco was the ever reliant Riley Standard 4 2-6-0 No. 76079.

The weather was indifferent on most days, but thoroughly poor on the cliffs at Friog on the Friday - shots only included as they show the loco dressed up for the last day.

The Cambrian really is fantastic, and I hope that WCRC decide to run again next year.

A 6am start got us to Barmouth early on the 28th - around 45 minutes ahead of the train in fact!
