North Yorkshire Moors Railway & York station

A three-day trip to North Yorkshire started on the 22nd with the 5.52 train from the local station, which got us to York in time for a ride round the Harrogate Circle with No. 60009 on the Scarborough Spa Express. It was something of a charter day in York, with two 47's (both pictured) and 67029 in use. The two WCRC standby 47's and class 37 No. 37038 were at the station as well, bringing back memories from the 60's when steam and diesel worked together through the station.

The remaining days were spent on the NYMR, our first visit since they became a Main Line TOC. Locos in use included 75029, 49395, 45212, 80135, 60007, D7628 and No. 61264 was on steam test on the last day.
